Course Overview

In this overview of mentoring and coaching skills, participants learn how to enhance the professional growth of others. This seminar provides leaders and managers with tools to effectively improve employee performance. Participants learn the differences between mentoring and coaching and will be able to determine which approach is more appropriate and when.

  • Assess strengths and weaknesses
  • Help establish development goals
  • Align their work with organizational needs, strategies, and goals
  • Provide a sense of support from the organization
  • Improve their confidence as they overcome challenges and obstacles

  • Relationship between mentor and mentee
